This could be your tiny house, a spacious mobile workshop, an ADU, a Toy Hauler, or whatever portable structure you need. This is a fully framed and weather-tight building on a heavy-duty double-axle trailer.
Double doors with energy-efficient double-pane glass at rear. Professionally installed Sheffield metal roof with opening Velux skylight. Ports for AC power, water, and ventilation.
No windows currently, but wall on one side is framed for up to 4 windows, each 3’ wide by 4’ high.
Comes with built-in loft with ladder, six-foot-long workbench, height-adjustable custom desk, a bench across one end, wall-mounted computer monitor on full-motion hinged bracket, and shelving units. However, the entire interior can easily be remodeled to your requirements.
This was built by my family and friends, and no effort was spared to make it extremely solid and long-lasting. The foundation starts with a metal-clad bottom layer (to prevent water, weather and rodent damage) on top of the dual-axle trailer, then 2x6 foundation beams were bolted to the trailer, followed by poly-iso insulation panels between the beams, and then the interior plywood flooring. Walls are 2x4 framing, then 0.451 (15/32 rated) plywood sheathing, Tyvek moisture barrier, and finally covered with composite, long-lasting exterior paneling plus high-quality exterior paint. Exterior grade screws used throughout, and most construction was both glued and screwed using Liquid Nails to insure resistance to road-vibration.
Almost all of the walls are completely insulated to R19 with poly-iso panels (2 inch R13 + 1 inch R6). Ceiling is 2x6 rafters and is ready for insulation to be installed.
Interior: 7’ 2” wide x 19’ 8” long, ceiling slopes from 8’ 4” up to 10’ 2”
Building Exterior: 8’ wide x 20’ 6” long, roofline slopes from 11’6” up to 13’ 3” (from ground level)
